5/26/2023 0 Comments Goofy high school romance animes![]() ![]() The character seemed so dull and far from unique. Neither of the characters really interested me either, and characters are probably what makes an anime amazing for me. It just seems that this anime was boring for me and wasn't my type of anime. Say I love you (This anime just lacked the comedy that I enjoy in Romance animes and it was also a little too serious for me. I just didn't like that she was a little immature for the main male protagonist, which is why I lean toward high school romances since the main characters are both usually pretty competent in those. ![]() There was definitely chemistry between the main characters and that was nice, but I just felt like the relationship didn't satisfy me because the main female protagonist was just so abnormal that it felt like it was hard me to understand how the main male character could fall for her. I spent a lot of the time in this anime being confused on multiple topics)Ĭhuunibyou (This anime wasn't bad at all, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. There was barely any romantic build-up between the couple before they suddently developed feelings for each other and that left me unsatisfied as well. Maybe it's not even considered a main-genre romance anime, but I also didn't like how rare comical relief was in this anime. Some romance animes (In no particular order) that I watched but didn't like areĬlannad After Story (This was a pretty sad anime and I went into it thinking it was a romance focused anime, but there weren't many romance scenes and maybe that's why I didn't like it much. Golden Time (This one was pretty good and I loved that the charcters got together early and there were many different twists and overall this was a great anime for me) Maid Sama (The characters in this one were amazing, the male protagonist was a pretty interesting and unique character that was fun to watch) I also loved the diversity in the characters and the fact that it was a pretty funny anime for a romance focused one.) The male protagonist wasn't brainless, overly-nervous, or dumb which gave me a chance to really be able to relate to him which made the anime even more fun to watch. Toradora (I loved that this anime was completely based on romance alone, even the conflict was all about romance. ![]() Sword Art online season 1 (My favorite part is that there were episodes that were really chill and relaxing to watch because of the chill vibe such as the cabin scenes and the scenes at Asuna's apartment) Some romance animes that I liked (Starting with my favorites down to my least favorites) were I'm looking for Dubbed only animes as I like to watch anime while I either do homework or play games and stuff. Honestly I'm into a wide variety of Romance animes, but I always end up watching animes that don't have a romance focus even if it's listed in the genre of the anime such as Danmachi. ![]()
